Buy a Berth
The Marina Society maintains a Berths for Sale list. Berth Licence holders may also advertise their berth licence privately once the marina office has been advised that the licence is for sale and as long as the specific sale conditions are noted within the advertisement.
If there are no berths currently for sale, please contact the Marina Office to be placed on a waiting list for berth licence purchasers.
When buying a berth, please note that the extreme dimensions (LOA) of the occupying vessel must be within the specified berth dimensions.
All berth licence sales must be transacted through the Sandspit Marina Society office. A transfer fee applies and all berth licence sales are subject to the approval of Sandspit Marina. All berth licence holders must be members of Sandspit Yacht Club prior to sale approval.
Licence Period.
The berth licences are valid until February 2046 at which time a new resource consent will be sought and licences renewed.
