Contractor Requirements

All contractors undertaking work within the Sandspit Marina precinct (our Workplace), whether engaged directly by the Marina or by a Berth User, must first be a registered Sandspit Marina approved contractor. This is initiated by completing the contractor safety induction application and process along with providing copies of current insurance certificates listing a minimum 10 million NZD in public liability and 5 million NZD in ship repairers. Please see the office staff if you wish to discuss further or proceeded to make an application as below.

It is a requirement that all Approved Contractors demonstrate competency, capability and commitment to Health & Safety in accordance with the current Health and Safety in Employment Act, Regulations, Codes and Standards and also operate within our Marina Rules & Code of Conduct.

This Safety Induction Pack allows Sandspit Marina management to assess your organisations commitment to workplace health and safety and to ensure you have the necessary systems in place to meet our required standards.  Consideration and registration as an Approved Contractor is subject to receiving the appropriate documentation and proactively maintaining it annually.

There are three steps to complete registration:

  • Step One: Download the Contractor Safety Induction Pack smart pdf, complete, save as using “your organisation/company nameCSIP2022″(eg BloggsMarineServicesCSIP2022)
  • Step Two: upload via the same web page your completed Contractors Safety Induction Pack along with proof of insurance using the “choose file” upload section below.
  • Step Three: Tick the Code of Conduct confirmation box.

We will then assess and process the application issuing INuGO APP access.

Step One:

Once you have completed this safety induction pack, “save as” with Organisation Name in title

 

 

2. Upload completed Contractor Safety Induction Pack & Proof of Insurance Certificates.

Step Two:
Upload documents using the “Choose file” below and select your saved Contractor Safety Induction Pack,
Upload required insurance Certificates using next  “Choose File” .

It is a requirement of Sandspit Marina Society that all Contractors have a workable Health and Safety Policy. Please attach a copy of your Safety Induction Pack and Proof of Insurance here.
