Contractor Requirements
All persons or service providers (PCBU) tasked with working within the Sandspit Marina precinct (our Workplace), whether engaged directly by or on behalf of the Marina, a vessel owner, berth user or associate of, must first be a Registered Contractor with Sandspit Marina. This is initiated by completing the contractor application forms as below for processing, assessment and approval, along with providing copies of current Public Liability and Ship Repairers insurance certificates. The required minimum insurance cover is $5 million cover for each policy although greater cover may be required based on the services provided and work location. Please contact the Marina Manager to discuss or simply proceeded to make an application as below and we will contact you as required.
It is a requirement that all Contractors demonstrate competency, capability and commitment to Health & Safety in accordance with the current Health and Safety in Employment Act, Regulations, Codes and Standards and also operate within our Marina Rules & Code of Conduct.
This Contractor Registration Pack allows Sandspit Marina management to assess your organisations commitment to workplace health and safety and to ensure you have the necessary systems in place to meet our required standards. Consideration and approval as a Registered Contractor is solely at the discretion of Marina Management and is subject to Sandspit Marina receiving the appropriate documentation and contractors proactively maintaining it annually.
There are three steps below to complete registration
We will then assess and process the application before issuing Marina gate access credentials.

Step 2. Upload completed Contractor Registration Pack & Proof of Insurance Certificates.
- Upload documents using the “Select file” below and select your completed Contractor Registration Pack,
- Upload required insurance Certificates from your files using next “Select File”.
